Answers Time!

To begin with, thank you so much for all the nice, inspiring and uplifting comments… I love to read those even if that takes tons of time, yeah C: Many of questions were very similar so I tried to pick the more unique ones.

Do you go to any cons?

I don’t and I haven’t yet. At the moment I would see myself more like a visitor rather than artist at cons… I just don’t feel like I have created something enough solid, content wise, you know. So far probably the Boggart would be a reason to go, some day :]

I just wanted to say, i saw your work on the google web store and immedietly downloaded the theme! i love your work so much!

Thanks C: Yup, few of my wallpapers are available on Google Webstore as Chrome Themes - LINK

So I wanted to ask if I can post your works and link them to you so other people can find them too?

Generally I don’t mind extra exposure, but I would prefer if you could re-blog it from here ;]

When did you develop your unique rendering style? Did you always paint like that, did it come slowly, or did you change your style from something else?

To be honest, right now at this moment I can’t really recall it… I think generally my painting style and skills evolves ( rather slow, becouse I don’t really practise much, but I’m about to change that ) slowly and probably it’s not hard to tell that this or that work is painted by me no matter the subject… at least that is what people tend to tell me :]

Have you gone to art school, or did you develop all on your own? Do you have any tips for a beginning artist? I LOVE your art, and especially the way you use colors is SO AWESOME.

Thank you! I’m self-tought. I think if you are able to be a constructive judge of your own works then the rest is just a matter of time… and probably giving a bit of yourself ( being original, more or less ) is another strong point of individual art-wise growth.

Can i just say that your art is the most precious thing i have ever laid eyes on, and i adore and idolize you to the point where words cannot express? i do a little dance in my head every time i see your art, because it is just so GORGEOUS!! <3

Sure, go ahead! :D I won’t deny, to hear such comments is somewhat inspiring - one of the most emotionally amazing experiances is when I actually get aware that my works has made a day for someone - it’s like a food for soul <3

Do you do other things other than puppies and cats. like red pandas, fox, raccoon, BIRDS? :o

Hell yes! Sceneries, birds ( owls ), pandas, fanarts, portraits, still life, fishes, swans, nature and even CAKES. I recommend to check out mu dA gallery ;]

I feel i should be brutally honest, and not sure if anyone’s told you this, but i feel as though the boggart comic is kind of rushed and not done well at all compared to your other arts. i mean, it may not be my cup of tea, but i never have seen a punchline or any sort of joke to begin with in those comics. I’m not ragging on you and i like your other art, but if you want to continue boggart, maybe put more effort into it?

You are right… I don’t really consider myself as an comic artist, but still I have this urge to make little everyday stories or happenings :] If it would be a game then Boggart would be the Minecraft - somewhat sketchy, buggy and always growing. I don’t have a specific plan for Boggart as for now I want to keep it loose, perhaps personal in some ways. As for jokes, perhaps Boggart is different - most of the time you won’t see well thought out mainstream jokes. This far it’s more about HOW I see the world through the eyes of Boggart. Probably Boggart comic is somewhat self-ish o; I think sometimes it’s important to do art the way we enjoy it to do… to let artists go naturally, untamed by standarts~

Are you thinking about making your apps available for the iphone?

iOS devices ( their SDK ) doesn’t support such thing as Live Wallpapers ( I wonder if Google has a patent on that? ), BUT I can tell great apps will also come for iOS devices. As a little teaser - my personal Boggart comic reader will be available soon just like few other projects in works C: I have tons of ideas on how to tranfer my painting style into lots of fun iOS apps!

Can you make one of those mini Dino’s things for iPhone’s or does the android one work with iPhones? Cause I really want one of those things!

I’m able to make only what society6, zazzle store or artofwhere offers.

Do you use smudge tool to make the cat’s fur? Or just playing around with the brush opacity? Thanks!

No! Personally I find its use and result somewhat cheap *ugh*. It’s not like I would suggest not to ever use it, please do experiment!

May I ask what your brush setting are for Sai? You are such a wonderful painter, I would like to know how you do your work :3 if that is ok with you~~<3

I will post that info in my dA journal so keep an eye on that!

I absolutely adore your art, especially Boggart! <3 My question is; is Boggart your own cat and does he have the same personality as the one in your comics? If not; how did you came up with the idea of Boggart?

No, Boggart is fictional yet bit inspired from my real life cat who has rather cheaky manners :3 As for how I did coem up with Boggart… I wanted something simple to make short everyday stories with so Boggart seemed like a fine option. I also made poll about Boggart’s name long time ago so all the fans are also involved in away!

I have to marry you. Can I?

Send me your photo and I will consider it. I joke, of course C:

Ohymgosh I am absolutely in love with all your artwork. Do you sell any prints?

YES! on dA and society6!

Do u like last.fm? what is your link?

I did use it a long time ago. I’m more of youtube person now :]

How long you draw? I mean years or so.

I started to draw a lot more when I got my first tablet back in 2008.

This is it! Once, more thank you for all your questions and support! *grouphug*
